In just 3 month I brought 53 new team members into my business without sending a single copy/pate messenger script to friends or strangers...
However, not too long ago I was struggling big time, trying to prospect my warm market - online and offline - and it was badly hurting my relationships with zero to show for it.
I followed my upline’s advice to the ‘T’ - both offline and online.
First, I started with the 3ft rule - prospecting people at malls, grocery lines, and other public places and all I got were weird looks and angry store managers.
I mean could you blame them?
A random person asking people if they were interested in getting healthier or creating wealth while in a store checkout line felt really awkward to me too...
I turned all my efforts online where literally EVERYONE in the world is within 3ft of you! Lol
The "online system" was cold messaging random people in hundreds every single day, posting before after photos, selfies of me holding my company’s products and pretty much just creating a lot of hype around creating wealth, even though I was completely broke.
But still… I pushed forward, stuck to my phone 24/7 and every time someone blocked me or unfriended me, I felt a little part of my self esteem die.
I was so frustrated and stuck.
And guess who I took my frustration out on... my KIDS
It got so bad that one day after I got blocked by a prospect whom I thought would be sure to join, I felt so defeated while staring at my phone…
My daughter was trying to tell me something and I snapped at her, and told her to "eat your food and leave me alone!"
I saw tears swell up in her eyes and I ran out of the room crying as I hated the person I was becoming. :’-(
Later that day my husband, (who was generally supportive of my business), said "Honey, this has to stop. All you do is stare at your phone and take your anger and frustration out on the kids! It’s not fair to them or me"
I already felt like a failure…. But even worse, I was turning into a terrible mother and wife.
I also am not one to give up too easily, so I started searching for answers and I found a community of people who were like me and had found an entirely new strategy which actually worked, but didn’t involve spamming strangers - in person or online!

Now my kids enjoy a mommy they love and is no longer staring at her phone when they need her.
I get to be at every ball game, dance recitals and plays! I am no longer frustrated but laugh at their silly jokes and enjoy life with my husband.
And just like someone did with me, I’d like to share what I discovered.
Now in addition to learning WHAT to do, the first thing I learned, was what NOT to do which was pretty much everything I was doing before.
What used to work back in 2014 doesn't work anymore...

STOP Posting The Name Of Your Company
People shouldn’t even be able to figure out which company you’re with.
Now I know this might be controversial, but you want to create a little bit of intrigue and curiosity. When you post the name of your company you are allowing people to get their information from Google.
They can do this without ever having a conversation with you. This means they will make their own assessment based off of what they read online. Or even worse they could potentially join someone else’s team.By posting about your company, you are saying the company plays a bigger role in helping them than you do. You’re just a salesperson – an unimportant commodity – they don’t need. In fact, if you are perceived as a salesperson, you are repelling your prospects!
Or they will read a bunch of negative stuff on Google and not want to talk to you. Obviously, in a business that relies on trust and relationships, the prospect NEEDS YOU.
Create a little mystery and curiosity, by focusing on what you can do for people or help them with. And if you haven’t figured it out already, all these lessons apply to build OFFLINE, as well as ONLINE. DO NOT diminish the critical role you play as an advisor and expert in the eyes of your prospect.
Great networkers position themselves as advisors (not salespeople), who can help others get what they want.
But here’s the interesting thing.

Maybe someone in your upline doesn’t want you to explore other methods.
It’s normal for people who have not built their business this way tend to have a negative attitude.
Human beings fear of the unknown, which is why the first thing I told you was: master the unknown.Can’t tell you how relieved and at peace I felt, when I once again, was able to go out with my friends, visiting a family member’s home or be in a public place without having to think about prospecting anyone.
Just enjoying being normal again, was incredible, after two years of being taught that “everyone was a prospect” and approaching every conversation with a hidden agenda, I was free!
That’s because it wasn’t until I STOPPED prospecting, that my business actually started growing!
Weird, right?At this point, you're probably thinking, “then how the heck did your business grow?”
So…before I answer that, I have to say that there are people who are very skilled prospectors and recruiters who completely disregard the issues I mentioned above.
They knowingly and without shame, approach every interaction with a stranger as a prospecting opportunity. So Annoying!!!
Getting ridiculed at or straight up ignored by prospects is no big deal, as long as some people say ‘yes.’
The problem with prospecting in general, traditionally speaking, is that the mindset is always about what YOU want people to do and about manipulating people into doing what you want them to do.
In other words, it’s NOT about THEM, it's about YOU.
As much as I didn’t like that, I still did for a while because that’s what I was told to do… until I did find a better way.
And…the reason I was able to quit prospecting everyone with a heartbeat was because of the help of some extraordinary mentors who showed me an online recruiting strategy.
This strategy enabled me to recruit more people in 1 Day, than the most skilled recruiter in the world, can do in 1 month.
I was able to passively generate leads and prospects, customers and new reps – all while out having fun with family and friends.
